On my last day in my previous job at Newcastle University, I was showing the steps I had built in the
Seaton Sluice allotment and she asked me if I could tidy up her front garden. She requested stone kerbs for an
edge to the block paving that had not been finished off, a lawn with a narrow space for planting, and a hedge.
After further discussion, it was decided that an 'instant hedge' would add value, with
Trees Please of Corbridge
supplying the potted copper beech plants. Turf from Tyas Turf based near Scotch
Corner.
