Jean is a neighbour of Helen and heard about my work in replacing her raised beds. She has just moved into this
property and asked me to turn over a section of soil where a path had been lifted.
This was a quick job although the soil was really compacted. Jean also requested taking a small section of the lawn
away to add more growing space and to create more of a feature. The soil is now ready for planting although it will
take a year or two of careful planting and enrichment to become fully productive.
"I had a really big garden where I lived before and this will allow me to start growing things again."
